The Green Mile

I'm going to talk about movie "The Green Mile". That is English movie that showed in March 25 2000 in Japan. That is a very moving story, and sad one. Green Mile is one of prison. That is last place that prisoners walk.　Paul as Tom Hanks is a prison guard. One day, a guy was sent in Green Mile. His name is John Coffey as Michael Clarke Duncan. He has mysterious power that absorbs agony and change to miracle power. Paul and some of his comrades see that miracle and Coffey’s pure heart. They think strange that Coffey is real criminal. That move taught us about carry out ours duty and rightness of human. When I watched that movie I cried a lot. That is a masterwork of movies. If you haven’t watched that movie I very recommend it.

That movie’s originally is novel. It was cinematized in 1999. It was given Academy Awards for acoustical award and script award and screen award. John Coffey as Michael Clarke Duncan was given Academy Award for best supporting actor in 2000. It’s a picture starring Tom Hanks. His major movies are “The Da Vinci Code”, “The Terminal”, “FORREST GUMP” and so on.
