History of Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest has been held since 1810. From the first beginning, Oktoberfest was not a famous festival. But the first Oktoberfest was held with marriage of prince and princes in German and big horse racing. So Oktoberfest became famous. In 1835, first parade through for celebration of the prince and princess 25th wedding anniversary. From 1850, pared became regular and a special product. The end of 19 century, Oktoberfest became famous all over the world. But due to World WarⅠ and World WarⅡ, Oktoberfest was suspended several times. And after big wars, the scale of the festival reduced. Besides in 1980 a terrorist bomb explosion happened. 13 people died and over 200 people were injured. It was the most tragic day in history of Oktoberfest. But Oktoberfest has continued to be held every year, and now, a lot of sightseers visit all over the world. In afternoon it plays traditional German music and people drink calm. At night it plays European pop and rock, so drunken sings and dance. It is such a funny festival.
